An Award!!!

I plan to extend this award to other of my blogger friends soon. I have quite a list of them!!

In other news, the house is still a mess despite my attempts to clean it yesterday. And today I have such a busy day with two orthodontist appointments for each of the Drunken Midgets, a Violin lesson for the eldest, and something else I keep forgetting. I also have to run by my mom's to pick up some stuff. I'm dreading it already. I'm going to have to find time in between there to get some more cleaning done, cuz I just can't take it no more, no more. And for the first time in a long time even my room is a mess, which is very unusual as my room is generally the cleanest one in the house.

The yougest Drunken Midget is off at a sleepover and the eldest had someone over last night. She's not going to be happy when I wake her up at 7:30 for her orthodontist appointment cuz I'm sure they were up late last night.

And, I finally was able to find the USB cord for my camera so here are some pics of our vacation...Click each image to make it larger, especially the one of the StuperBlender!

Tattoo

In other news, I am very bored. It's 6:30 and I've been up for three hours trying to entertain myself.

So Very Bored

OMG I am so freaking bored out of my mind!! The 'rents are golfing and the Drunken Midgets are still asleep and I have nothing whatsoever to do, damn it!

I'm hoping to go into town today and get a haircut. I can always do it at home, but I want to get it cut today. It will give me something to do anyway. Plus, I just can't stand how it looks anymore. In all the pics taken of me this week (which were few and far between as I was usually the one taking the pics) I look just awful. I don't even want to post any pics of me on my blogs when I get home, it's that bad.

So, what the hell am I going to do to entertain myself today? I will probably read some more of The Taking by Koontz, but I can only sit and read for so long. I've been particularly restless this week, which may have something to do with the fact that I've been drinking forty times my normal amount of coffee.

 That is exactly how I feel right now!!!!

We head home tomorrow and while I don't particulerly relish the idea of going back to all the stress awaiting me there, I am ready to get back. I've had enough fun and sun for now. Plus, my cats probably think I have abandoned them. I'm sure they will be very excited to see us. Hopefully they all survived a week alone.

And hopefully we won't come home to dead gerbils. I fed and watered them before we left and I hope it was enough. I thought about bringing them with us, but we already had the bird and the rat, which my mom was not too pleased about, and I think adding the gerbils would have been a bit much.

I just can't believe how many damn animals we've accumulated over the past year. We went from no pets to having three cats, two gerbils, a bird, and now a rat. All in a two bedroom apartment. It's a bit much, even for me.

School starts up for me on the 17th. I have mixed feelings about it. While I'm sure I will enjoy being out of the house once I'm there and in the swing of things, it's going to be hard to leave my little coccoon that has sustained me for so long. I'm a bit nervous about it. I have to go to orientation on Tuesday and I'll get my books and my scrubs then. I'm so glad we have to wear scrubs cuz I don't have much of a wardrobe and now I won't have to worry about it since I'll be wearing the same thing every day.

And for those of you who haven't seen him yet, here is a pic of my new nephew....

Isn't he a cutie? That's my sister-in-law's dog, Max that he's sleeping with. I have yet to see a pic of him where he isn't sleeping!

I'm hoping to be able to stop by my bro's to help out my sister-in-law next week sometime. And, I have a book I want to give him that I bought in town. I haven't seen my nephew for a couple weeks now and I'm going through withdrawals!!

Well, I'm off to find a way to entertain myself.

Boredom and Zach Braff

I've spent the morning burning CDs on my puter. I have four of them now that really rock, if I do say so myself. And it's kept me busy and not thinking about the fact that I'm spending my weekend ALONE again. Damn it that sucks. Okay, but I'm ignoring that for now.

So I have some good CDs to listen to now. And I'm heading to Clever Girl's house in a few hours to look at some clothes that she's getting rid of and damn do I need clothes.

And I have Carpe Demon to read. I picked it up yesterday and I'm about halfway through it now. It's a really, really good book. I love the idea of a demon hunting soccer mom, it's like Buffy meets the mom in that one show...Gilmore Girls. It's a lot better than I'm making it out to sound I'm sure, but take my word for it, it's a great book.

And yes, I know I'm babbling, but I'm very okay with that as I'm bored out of my fucking mind!!!!

I also have Hypocrite in a Poufy White Dress and Why I'm This Way to read along with Running With Scissors, which is apparently a major motion picture now.

Zach Braff is coming out with a new movie soon, The Last Kiss, which I can't wait to see. I LOVED Garden State, it's still the best movie I've ever seen, hands down. And Zach Braff not only starred in it but wrote it and directed it too. He is so damn talented and such a CUTIE!!! too.

I just adore Zach Braff, in case you can't tell. He is definitely on my top five list along with Orlando Bloom, Johnny Depp, Jason Statham and Brad Pitt.

I've Done Had It

My literary teacher emailed me today and told me that I did such an excellent job on the first essay, I don't have to write the second essay! I'm soooo happy about that, you have no idea! In other news the kids leave in two days for California, which I am absolutely TICKLED about. I'm planning to take advantage of my break and go out with my friend Dez, maybe hit a bar or two. I was going to skip it when she first invited me, but after certain things happened lately I decided I'm not going to sit at home and mope anymore. I'm also going to see the new X Men movie. I wanted to see it with my kids but they out voted me and we ended up seeing 'Over the Hedge'. It was cute for a kids movie, but I would have rather seen X Men. Hugh Jackman...mmmmmmmmm....nummy. Yeah, he's a hottie, for sure!

Okay, can you tell I have nothing better to do than post pics of a man I will never even meet? Yeah, I'm bored, so sue me!

In other developments, I've been making some plans for the near future, which I can't quite share yet. Not until I know exactly what is happening with certain things. I've decided I'm done waiting for life to happen for me and I'm going to go out and grab it by the balls, so to speak. I'm going to make the most of this summer, or I'm going to die trying! I've been a hermit for too long, and apparently for no good reason, so I'm breaking out of my shell, damn it! Anyway, that's about all for now!

So, I heard his approval rating is around 36% (Even when he was being impeached Clinton's approval rating was around 75%) and I'm thinking, It took this damn long for you people to figure out what a miserable failure this man is???  Is the IQ of the American public around 65 then, or what????

My Tattoo!

This weekend I went to stay the night at my best gf Seira's house and we went up to Tatts by Zapp in Stillwater and I got my new tattoo!  I'm so excited I love it!  I have to say though that getting tatts can be kinda addicting, I already want another one.  Though I don't think the bf would appreciate it too much, he doesn't care for tattoos, although it's not like that would stop me, love me, love my tattoos....Hehehehe  Here's a couple pics of it.

It's a Girl!

We have a new addition to our family.  My oldest Drunken Midget adopted a cat at the Humane Society yesterday.  She is the friendliest most adorable cat I've ever seen and her name is even Karma.  Talk about a perfect cat for this family! Not to bore you completely or anything, but here's some pics...
